Company details
Transport Temps is a trading name of Maine Couriers Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 10970780.
The registered office is a registered office. It is not a branch, it is not a driver hub and it is not somewhere to turn up for a shift or to drop documents off without arranging it first. Transport Temps supplies nationally and has no other premises.
What to say when you call
Booking cover
Have the class or role, the count, the dates, the shift times and the site postcode. That is enough to get an answer on whether it can be covered. Or send it through the booking form.
Registering for work
Have your licence categories, Driver CPC status, tacho card status and any tickets to hand. Or use the registration form and we will call you back.
A shift problem, today
Call, do not email. A driver who has not arrived or a site that has changed its start time is a phone call and a replacement is worked while you are still on the line.
Timesheets and invoices
Quote the booking reference and the week. Every invoice line traces back to an approved timesheet against that reference, so a query is usually settled in one call.
Data and privacy
Access to your data, correction or deletion — email us and see the privacy policy for what we hold, how long we hold it and how to complain if you are not satisfied.
Permanent roles
Not our work. Freight Talent is the permanent-only sister brand. Both are trading names of the same company, Maine Couriers Ltd and it is a straight referral.
Complaints
Raise it with us first, by phone or email, with the booking reference if there is one. Tell us what happened and what you want done about it — most things that go wrong on a shift can be fixed the same day if we hear about them the same day.
The state regulator for employment agencies and employment businesses is the Fair Work Agency, which has replaced the Employment Agency Standards Inspectorate. Complaints about how personal data has been handled go to the Information Commissioner's Office after you have raised them with us; the route is set out on the privacy policy.
Contact questions
What are your hours?
The number is a shared Maine Couriers line. Say it is a Transport Temps call and what it is about. Cover problems on a live shift should always be a call rather than an email, whatever the hour.
Can I visit the office?
Not without arranging it first. The Birmingham address is a registered office, not a branch or a driver hub and Transport Temps has no other premises anywhere in the country.
Where do I send my CV?
hello@transporttemps.co.uk with your name in the subject line. The registration form does not take uploads, so a CV emailed separately gets attached to your file.
Who do I contact about an invoice?
The same number and email, quoting the booking reference and the week. Every invoice line traces back to a timesheet you approved against that reference.
Tell us who you need
Give us the class, the count, the dates and the shift. We confirm what we can cover and say plainly when we cannot.
